Empire is the best movie and the most entertaining, yes, but Star Wars is the best film, I suppose. I don't think Jedi (ROTJ) would make my top 100.

I'd go for The Dirty Dozen or The Killers as a Lee Marvin movie, I think, but, then again, he is really good in The Big Red One. I suppose that, in the end analysis, you're picking it more for Fuller than Marvin.

Lee Marvin is my stepdad's favorite. He also loved Steve McQueen.

Stay far away from Marvin appearances in Cat Ballou and Paint Your Wagon though.

more personal trivia:
The only movie that, as a child, my stepfather ever forced me to sit down and watch is Sergeant York. It's a true story and it's pretty damn good.
