The trouble is that in certain circles the fact that you have an Oxford degree will get you a long way in your chosen career, regardless of whether you're any good at the job or not.

One of the hardest things is that I know that I wont be able to get another degree that is as respected as the one I will get from Oxford. But I don't know if I can put myself through 4 years of misery to get that degree. But then I also don't know how the next four years are going to go, I could meet some very cool and down to earth people, and have a great time. Or I could not. Or I could go to another uni and hate it just as much there and come out of it with a worse degree. It isn't an easy choice to make...
I'm studying Classics, possibly the most useless degree one can do, but very interesting and fulfilling.
