I read an article the other day about the Noka chocolate fraud.

Noka chocolate is made in a strip mall just outside Dallas in Plano, TX. Even though their advertising copy would have you believe differently, Noka is a choclatier rather than true chocolate maker. They simply import the 75% cacao chocolate from France from Bonnant for about 7 dollars a pound. They mold their Noka chocolates, put them in a fancy box, and sell them at boutiques, upscale department stores and the like.
What is of special note about Noka is that they sell their chocolate for over ten times as much as any other available.
For instance, Godiva costs about 33.00 a pound. Noka costs 353.00 per pound!
Fortunately for Noka, there's an ample supply of wealthy, vain and ignorant people worldwide that will buy their product at the ridiculously inflated prices.
