I went to the RnR Hall of Fame in Cleveland a few weeks ago to see a show at House of Blues and got free tix to the Hall of Fame, and to put it bluntly i was "sadly dissappointed" in the majority of it... the memorabalia aspect is interesting (being a guitar player) but the layout is poor, the use of such a large space is poor, the scope of the music is not done as well as expected... fuck they even had customs by some "non" rock n rollers in my opinion, (ie Britney Spears, Christina Aguilara, New Kids on the block...etc etc its like what do they have to do with the history of RnR???). I saw very little on SY, except for a them listed in a few gig posters in the "Grunge" section... Apparently they have so many items they are rotated on display, so i didn't see the Kim Gordon bass, or Lee's zither on display... so the Hall of Fame is overpriced and pretty much a joke. Right now they have a huge display on The Clash, which was one of the msot interesting aspects and i'm not much of a Clash fan.
