Pete off Big Brother's book.
(How many newly published books did I actually buy last year? Maybe five? Pete's book, Courtney's diaries, 'The God Delusion', 'Consider The Lobster', 'The Discomfort Zone'.. oh, and 'The Inheritance of Loss' (the 2006 Booker Prize winner. I always buy the winning book so I can judge it harshly and disagree with the judges decision.. without having read any of the other books on the shortlist.)
Of those, yes, the ghost-written cash-in autobiography of a reality TV star gave me the most pleasure.
