Apparently, being president of the World Bank can't get you new socks.
It was an embarrassing moment for Paul Wolfowitz, the head of the World Bank this weekend.
During an official visit to Turkey, Wolfowitz obeyed local customs and removed his shoes at a mosque, revealing two giant holes in his socks.
Wolfowitz has not commented on "sock-gate."
