As for other exceedingly popular shows, like American Idol, Desperate Housewives, Dancing with the Stars (when that was on), Grey's Anatomy, and the CSI franchise, etc., I've never watched for more than a few seconds.

I like Desperate Housewives simply because some of the stuff on there is so ridiculously stupid. Like...this guys wife (Alma) that faked her death, she moved to Wysteria Lane to try to get her husband back (she wanted a baby). So she has his mother call him and say that Alma killed herself (the 2nd death faking). He comes over. They drug him with sleeping pills and Viagra, and then she fucks him.
How can you not enjoy such ridiculous shit?
Heroes is pretty poorly written, but I keep watching it. I want to see how it ends.
