I think there are a lot of different factors that make someone gay. I don't think it is purely genetics or purely life experience. There are probably some life experiences that can affect some people's sexuality depending on their genetics. So, in other words- say there is a "gay" gene. It doesn't make you gay, but if you happen to have a parental figure who has a certain personality, or you have a certain sexual experience at a young age, you would start to develop gay tendencies.

I agree, it's probably a mix of things, but does it really matter? You can't change them, and when I hear about parents sending their children to counseling it annoys me ..you wouldn't try to convert a staight person to be gay, so why do the opposite? People are who they are, and others should just accept it.
