And I agree that many Sonic Youth fans may not like pop and hip-hop but that's no reason for it to be ignored by the boards. It's not a lesser music form necasarily either. It may not be as musically complex but it still is a talent to write a pop hook that will get stuck in people's heads.
I don't buy pop albums but I still dig the tunes.
