Anyways I wanted to rent the series on Netflix but apparently the series premire isn't available on DVD, which sucks. Personally I like "The X-Files" much better.

I think the Pilot is coming out on DVD in the US soon. They are releasing a bit box set with both series when series 2 comes out, I think.
I think Twin Peaks is my favourite tv series. I would say it's the greatest or at least one of the most important. It still amazes me that such a surreal series became so popular (at least my memory of it at the time was as a popular series). It had quite a visceral impact on me as a boy.
