No. The guy who started scientology back in 19-whenever used to be a sci-fi writer, and when asked about it he said something to the likes of I don't do it for the money; if I really wanted to make money, I would start a religion. Then, a few years later, he starts a religion. A sort of "Sci-Fi" religion, if you will. It's clear he started this thing for the money. Why would you believe and follow something if you know that it is made up?
