I can settle for civil unions. I do believe that marriage should include same-sex couples because of basic equality aspects, but I honestly don't care about the title.
I got 8th place in a speech tournament for a same-sex marriage speech! I got fucking ripped off though. In previous rounds, I had out ranked half the people that beat me. I would have placed myself 4th or 5th. But I was happy, considering it was my first tournament.
