Glice - if you want to do Scandinavia, I can at least recommend the cities of Stockholm and Oslo, which I both love. Not cheap, though - 7 pounds for a beer in Oslo, and 20 pounds for a pizza! My dad and his wife went to Croatia last year, and they both said how beautiful it was.
