Nobody could forsee that someone who was arrested for drunk driving and allowed to walk free might drink and drive again? You may not be able to make judgements on people based on where there from, but you can judge lawmakers and public officials based on whether or not they did their best to uphold the law and protect the citizens of their jurisdiction, which they clearly did not do. If the drunk driver was American, I'd still like to see him deported. That's not legal, though, so we'd have to settle for throwing him in prison. You're right, it makes absolutely no difference where this guy was from. No matter how you cut the cake, the authorities failed to do something about him and now two young people are dead as a result. Tragic, isn't?
