any of the latter day tool clips from aenima on, but these are strictly from an aesthetic point of view
there really isn't much in the way of sound techniques within the tropes of the music video because 99 percent of them are just songs with visuals, i would concentrate on more of the aesthetic. some clips do however use film techniques such a diagesic and non-diagesic sound. some of the foo fighters clips definately use that technique as do some of the beastie boys clips. you will get a far stronger essay if you write about the aesthetic of the clips and how or not these aesthetics work. spike jonze did a clip for fatboy slim that is from memory totally diagesic sound.
