Oh, Mystery Men, with that great super hero called the Shoveller - the only token that was left

I watched and smelled Polyester last night. There was Stiv Bators in it. A very young, slim and funny one, playing a bad boy playing polo with a broom in a car.

Johnny Thunders played a junkie musician central to the plot in Patrick Grandperret's Mona et moi. He looked extremely tired and miserable.
In the same film played another musician who would OD too : Helno, from French band les Négresses Vertes (I was surprised, at the time of his death, 1993, to see an obituary for him in the NME or the Melody Maker, with a fine picture of him)
