Seconded. Although if you haven't seen any Suzuki before I'd recommend Branded to Kill and Tokyo Drifter of Youth of the Beast. Although all 3 are ace. Branded is interesting if you've seen Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai because you will be able to spot a few bits that Jimmy Jarmusch paid 'homage' to (ie ripped off).

Also, if you haven't seen any Teshigahara then I'd remedy that. Not sure which ones are available in R1 yet...I think Criterion is doing, or has just done a box set. Anyway, Woman of the Dunes, Pitfall and Face of Another are all essential viewing.

And it goes without saying but if there is any Herzog you haven't got round to seeing then it would worth rectifying that. Especially if you haven't seen Aguirre, Fitzcarraldo, Strozek, Even Dwarves Started Small or Fata Morgana.
