mark prindle gave metal machine a 1 and gave silver sessions a... 4? or 5? and i emailed him and asked him why, since his reviews for the two were pretty similiar ("It's just feedback"). and he told me that silver sessions was interesting to listen to whereas metal machine isn't. interesting. but...
i have always found metal machine to be kinda boring. silver sessions is just... heavenly. i think on a level of distorted purity and heavenly bliss, they will never make a better album. perfect.
