Looking at the newspapers, the Independent's brilliant for setting the media trends of adding views to news in many ways. Kel did a great job in to-day's edition in responding to Blair. The Independent is suited for readers from many walks of life who all share the ability to make their own minds up on matters over others' views as well as the sacred facts. The headlines are designed to be provokative, yes, but not sensationalism. Plus we can all laugh as the pretence of Tracey Emin every Friday.
The Guardian's my second favourite read. A centre-left paper, they don't tend to cover as much as the Indy but have a great balance.
The Telegraph is another I can stand to read. Traditionally Tory but well balanced in my opinion. The letters section is a good laugh.
The Times. I've never been able to read an entire article. They seem to inject everything that is dull into every last word they publish.
The Sun or one of those (can't make out which is which) surprised me when I found out the editor was a woman. Still not very funny and very bad with news. Bigoted too.
Once one first heard the phrase the Daily Sport they become perpetually misanthropic.
Tony Blair wouldn't have made that speech if the Independent was unbiased about Iraq, nor would he if he wasn't about to step down.
