My cable modem is fine, my router is fine, my computer is sending and recieving packets on the network connection, it detects when the network cable is unplugged. But I can't access any websites, log into AIM, et cetera.

I've tried everything I can think of- reboots, resetting the modem and the router (which are working fine- my phone is hooked up VIA CAT5 from the router and it is working, and this computer is on the router's wireless)

I can type in my routers address and it will ask me for a password, when I give it though, it goes on loading until it times out.

This is really frustrating me. It absolutely kills me when I can't solve a problem with a computer or piece of electronics.

It seems to me like it is a software issue. Any ideas?
