I'll second whoever said that the display of "ugly" feet was unnecessary. Otherwise, I say, bare them. Obviously, footwear shouldn't clash horribly with clothing, but frankly, I think your collective opposition to sandals/flipflops is a manifestation of a fear of a threat to your masculinity.
I personally think feet are hot. Seriously. I dig them.
