I have my things in Cd audio, the original files in DVDs, and in 2 different external drives. I become a little paranoid when the hard drive of my old pc destroyed itself for no apparent reason (and there was no way to recover things, sadly). Go ask some pros help, spend money if needed/if you think it's worth it, OR see this as the turning point of your "career" and start from scratch and make awesomER (ha ha) things.
