What the hell are they?

So I know one of the charms of this album is that the vocals are hard to make out, much as that's what makes Loveless intriguing (or frustrating, depending on your opinion of Loveless). Still they are singing "something."

This is what it sort of sounds like to me...

Singer is a clerk, oh ah oh (repeated)

then...

slicing up a sandwich
Runs the work
on the edge of your sandwich

when you eat the sandwich
won't you tell me what you think
is in it
