Some issues haven't come up in this thread.
Say it's being decided upon an employer whether they should take this one man, or this other woman into their workforce in which they'll be paid their respective average wages. The woman's would be over 100£ (200$) less.
She'll be open to wearing about 1000% more things than men and shopping around 90% of each store, but will barely have the money for it.
Torture.
