You can believe what you like, I was there. There were only two people who were paid. Both were paid 18 months after the tour finished by Jed Weizman of Sanctuary Records after they signed Morrissey

The tour itself was organised by Morrissey and a tour manager from the USA

Morrissey picked up £74,000 in the form of three cash deposits at the Brixton academy show from the promoters rep

That was money that should have gone on wages

Morrissey on the tour was also being chased by two process servers

One with a court order demanding £500,000 awarded to Mike Joyce, the other an order for £800,000 from the Inland Revenue

You might also want to ask yourself why he liquidated his assets in the USA and cannot reside in the UK

The guy is a real piece of work
