xenogears never got a uk release, so i've never played it. anyway, it's good to see someone with the same two favourite final fantasy games as me, although i've yet to play any of the ones on ps2.
you need to get your hands on vagrant story, it's the best rpg i've ever played. it takes a bit of getting used to though as it is pretty different any other rpg as the weapons system is probably the most complex i've ever come across, it can be a bit frustrating at first but once you get a grip on it you'll be totally sucked in, plus the story is much better than the usual save the world type crap.
