Sorry, I really have no idea what the percentage of sarcasm or genuine hostility is in your posts (it's hard to tell with a computer screen) and I even forget how sarcastic I'm being. I've read this board a lot in the past, and I've seen such hateful interactions between people, that really the last thrilling thing for me (as an idea, but not one practiced so much) is to get in the middle of it and bother them to no end. I'm not that good at doing it in person, so I try it in writing or typing.

So this is what I was talking about. When it gets like this, I take everything for face value, addressing every little detail, and try to straighten things out in the end. It's just the surest way to go for me. Yes, you might be right if I care too much unnecessarily sometimes or am too serious (when I think I have to be). Sometimes I just like to be devil's advocate and jog people's heads with really long-winded rants. But overall, I try to be a good sport about it.

And come on, the F- was just well-placed. It was only a cheap gag.
