Don't get me wrong. I love that film, but to say that it's the best movie ever made is going overboard. The statement in itself, is overrated.

Agreed, but let's not forget that
Eyes Wide Shut was probably his weakest film.
Barry Lyndon was great! Strangelove? No doubt about it being genius.
