I went there especially for SY of course. The Belgians are rather quiet people it seems, they didn't go really out of their mind, they didn't seem to realize they were looking at a performance of the best album of the 80s! Well probably half of the crowd never heard a song of Daydream Nation (average crowd age 20, so they were just born at the time of release), they were just blown away by the SY feedback. For a few songs a guy stood next to me who also new all the lyrics, so I wasn't the only hardcore SY fan. Bassdrum was way too loud, as it was in all the tents and especially at the main stage.
Thurston needed some time to warm up, after a false start of Teenage Riot, forgot the lyrics, roadie provided him with all his other lyrics during rest of concert, strange that lyrics are that more difficult too remember as the music itself (which is way more complicated I would say). Well maybe he's just as lazy as I am.
