at best, I'm lukewarm about my love for the Flaming Lips right now, but that live track taken from a Westwood One show is still among my favorite recordings of all time. the Lips manager (Scott Booker) had promised me more tracks from that session, but he never came through (that rat bastard).

I figured that everyone had Psychocandy, but those TJAMC tracks are from the Peel Sessions (and harder to find), and they are superior to the versions on the LP (noisier = better in my book).

Carny = Paul Leary (of the Butthole Surfers). I'm not even sure that the album is out yet, but it's all good stuff.

Halo Comb is off Tripping Daisy's last album (after Wes' death). back in the day, Tim wasn't very big on exposure (this has somewhat changed with Polyphonic Spree), and I don't think that many people even knew this album existed. I suggest you get it from: http://www.goodrecords.com/ (it's just called "Tripping Daisy" along with "Jesus Hits Like the Atom Bomb" (if you don't have that already). both albums are masterpieces.

I'm really glad you liked it. I assumed that most of it would be old news to whoever got it, and I'm glad that there is new stuff for you to listen to.
