very hodge-podge record. a first time listener doesn't really know what to expect from track to track. someone who's a fan of "odelay" or "sea change" won't immediatley like this album. but yeah, it's really somthing.
speaking of beck, you all should watch this really cool 'mellow gold' documentary. it speaks alot about beck's early gigs and stuff. a must see for any beck fan. you can watch the video here
