***somewhat related: a few years back, my wife went to pick up the kid at school. all the soccer moms were standing out in the hallway whispering amongst themselves. moving a little closer, my wife was able to pick up a portion of the conversation: "did you hear about the kid that stood up in class and called everyone a BASTARD??!!".
I still laugh about it. that's mah boy.
