i used to collect chucks. i'd get them for $1 at pawn shops. i got a green plaid pair, a schoolbus pair, a dinosaur pair, a red pair, a pink pair, a purple pair, an aqua pair (i gave those to lyrch), and 3 black pairs. all high-tops. then i got 1 black pair of low-tops.one of the black pairs my mom bought me for $30. i bought one pair, my first pair off of a kid at school for $10. the rest i got for a dollar or less. no kidding.
but one time, i bought BRAND NEW converse one stars... for $1... i wore them for 5 years. i'll never go back to "chucks". one stars are the fucking best! my girlfriend custom made a pair of converse one stars which i currently wear that are completely black with a bit of whine-colore and golden shoelaces; they look like sauconys but they're converse one stars. love em.
