oddly, i like most of the things of which most people are afraid. for one, i actually like small spaces. hiding in closets, under beds, in the spaces left in the couch when you unroll a hide-a-bed, etc., were some of my favorite things to do when i was little. also, i love heights. when i heard we were staying on the 44th floor of our hotel when i went to nyc over a year ago i was elated.

but i do have my fears, of which bees (or any insect with a stinger) and being mugged are two. also, regarding mayonnaise, while i'm not afraid of it per se, i could live without it except on rare occasions.
