Um, the specific study by the Nat'l Cancer Institute about a possible link between red meat consumption and colon cancer has been proven to be faulty in that it never takes into account age, the amount of exercise, smoking habits, and other pertinent health factors about the study group involved. The particular group was studied during the eighties (forget what year) and another time in the nineties.
Obviously, if you eat red meat you will want to avoid extremely fatty varieties like cheap ground beef, because, of course, that stuff is not good for your heart or other organs.
Fast food "beef" (if it's beef at all in some cases) is laden with chemicals and sodium which are also not good for you in high dosages and actually addict your body.
