Uh oh... it's a whole new pop world these days. And perhaps the Spice Girls can no longer cut it. The word on the musical block is that their new single, Headlines (Friendship Never Ends), hasn't done all that well.
It's the first track they've recorded since their split nine years ago and it has only just made it into the top 10 of the midweek charts. So far it's only sold 5,278 copies, despite being available digitally last week and in the shops from Sunday.
An insider told the Daily Mirror: "There has been a tremendous buzz about the Spice return, but sales for both their Greatest Hits album and the single have not matched up to the hype.
