A dumb thread I know, but this is a tribute to the Nicotine Needy. Im convinced that these evil rolled delicious little fuckers are the hardest of all drugs to quit. It proly has to do more with how much smoking integrates into your daily life, finish a beer, light a smoke, jump in your car, take a puff, the world famous amazing morning combo of cofee/cig, finish a delicious dinner, having a satisfying cig to top off the relaxation. As a recovering alcoholic and addict (over the past year ive quit drinking, cocaine, opiates mainly oxycontin and heroin, and weed), I can honestly say that nothing has enslaved me like cigarettes. Ive tried quitting so many times, the longest bout of healthy lungs was three weeks. I always light that one smoke tho which leads to a pack and half a day. Luckily, I was a high school cross country runner, and I still run every day and lift a couple times a week and smoking considered Im in very good shape. My doctor said for a guy with my nicotine habit im pretty healthy as far as excercise and eating habits go, and if I quit id be mega healthy. On that note, whatre ur favorite cigs, and some quitting strategy reccomendations (ive tried gum, patch, marijuana, aversion therapy, and cold turkey so far)...
My faves:
Parliament Full Flavors
Camel Filter Wides
Marlbro 27's.
