that's exactly it. these cocksucks have been milking bands and musicians dry for over a century, chewing them up and spitting them out at a prodigious rate, with no care for the actual humans that make the music they sell, and they dare to spit in the music buying public's face like this?
they will be satuisfied with nothing less than some sort of imbedded code that charges a person a fee everytime they upload their CD onto a hard drive, whether it is to listen to it from the computer or to load up an MP3 player of some kind. That shit is so fucking stupid.

copyright is aload of shit these days. "intellectual property" my ass.
If I draw something, and frame it, and sell it for $200, I have and should not have, any say whatsoever in what the BUYER of my work chooses to do, whether it is destroy it, photocopy it, sell it to someone else for a million, whatever.
music is the same.
these fuckers are suing peple who own small businesses, who bring a boombox to their restaurant or store or workplace and play their music while they work. THEY are actually SUING people for that, saying you need a license to play music where others can hear it, even if you paid your $20 for the CD

this shit make sme so fucking mad.
