I know I'm quoting myself but I don't care. I have suggestions if you so choose too venture to some New York theater. These are my fave shows:

Speech & Debate (Off-Off-Broadway, 65 person black box theater)
Saw it twice in previews, it's been extended twice because it's AWESOME. Small intimate theater, awesome show.

Spring Awakening (Broadway, 1100 person theater, still surprisingly intimate)
Seriously, do yourself the favor. It's a rock musical about sex. Student rush tickets are only $26. It won eight Tonys this year, including best musical. For $30 you can sit ON the stage, next to the actors. Seriously.
