There is some stuff on Family Guy that makes me laugh still. On one new episode, Peter is on a game show named "Björk or Bobcat," where you have to decide if an audio clip is Bobcat Golthwait or Björk. That was pretty funny I thought.
The thing with Family guy is that the show is almost all one-liners.
A great and underappreciated Cartoon is Home Movies, because the plot of each episode plays a big role in the comedy. Coach McGuirk is funny because he's so pathetic, not because he makes tons of pop culture references.
