I just ate 2 pieces of pizza while reading this entire thread.

I find Kate Moss to be very unappealing. Too "frogish" for me.

Perhaps it's because people fear becoming fat, whereas no one really worries about becoming too skinny. Skinny is seen as something that you have to deliberately work for to achieve, whereas fat is seen as something that happens when you get lazy. As much as people like to criticize the skinny girls, they are still the ones upheld as examples of modern beauty, whereas fat girls are not. And if they are, it's an alternate kind of beauty that is still not accepted by the majority even though it represents the majority. So anyway, yes, I think people are less likely to openly criticize fat people because they think it's more likely that they themselves could end up that way (whether it's sooner or later in life), as opposed to suddenly becoming too thin. At least, that's one reason I can think of. People fear obesity. I don't think they fear it because it's deadly (same goes for being too skinny), but because it's seen as unattractive.

As for my taste in other people's appearances, it seems to be "not dainty", which goes for men and women both. I am more forgiving of daintiness in men, probably just because it's so far from the norm for them, and therefore can be interesting. But in women... I just like the solid look. Kind of boyish, but not thin. With men...I think the rail-thin rockstar look is so overdone. I like people who can carry some extra weight. When it comes down to it, I like cute people. I know a lot of people here like their guys to be very tall and skinny. My brothers look that way...so maybe that's why I prefer shorter guys with a little more to them. That's not a rule or anything, but I am drawn to that.

Where Kate Moss is concerned, she's kind of meh. Her face isn't what I would find attractive. She can be very pretty at times, but yeah, her face is still like a child's face. I don't care for that. She's a good model I guess...I don't know shit about modeling...but it seems to be working for her, so that's great. I have nothing actually bad to say about her.

And I think Anna Nicole was highly attractive. Her body type and facial features were very unlike my own, so I find that fascinating.
