well if john cusack is the criterion for movie picking, then i'd say being john malkovich & the grifters will blow these out of the water, with a possible recommendation for the thin red line-- this one "possible" because i haven't seen it but a) it's got great reviews b) was directed by terrence malick who's a smart motherfucker.

actually i'm going to add the thin red line to my netflix queue right now.

i liked grosse point blank though i think it could have been better.

well high fidelity (the movie) is more about how a guy with arrested development issues must give up his protracted teenagehood & become "the man" (a music producer) in order to keep some pussy around in his old age. i haven't read the book, but it should be better.
