The Cramps are pretty basic. I love them especially the album "Bad Music for Bad People."

I have been listening to The Monsters lately. They are a bit more garage punk than straight pyschobilly but they definitely fit in that category. They're hilarious, and the lyrics are all about creatures from lagoons and hanging in cemeteries.

My flipping ENGLISH teacher loves Reverand Horton Heat.

But I know when I started in with pyschobilly, I was drawn to The Cramps. Straight up pyschobilly. They even performed at Napa State Mental Hospital.

I wouldn't call the Horrorpops pyschobilly, they are more poppy rockabilly. Like the Sum 41 of punk - good, but not quite there completely.
