What's your caffeine intake?
about a cup of coffee a day equivalent? like.. if i dont have a coffee, I'll have tea or two.

What's your diet?
a bit average at the moment but I take suppliments to try and help

How much exercise do you get?
less than I should but I do walk a fair bit now.

What's your alcohol consumption?
nada lately

Are you under stress?
sometimes, but not really.

What do you do to relax?
read, watch tv, sew, paint, draw, etc

Do you try to stick to a normal bedtime?
no thats boring. i go to bed when Im tired or earlier when i need to get up in the morning.

These are all questions you must address.
tick!

Most psychologists will recommend that you stick to regular sleep schedules, and that you get a minimum of eight hours of rest. You need eight hours of full restorative sleep, as a minimum. Everybody does. Anything less is bad for your mental and physical health.
yeh I get about 8. I know that rule. sometimes lower sometimes higher, I live, you know.

Most psychologists will also recommend that you go to bed at your regular time and stay there, even when you can't sleep. Don't get up to do something else. Toss and turn if you have to, but stay there. This trains your body eventually to adhere to a regular time and schedule for sleep.
in my experience that makes my insomnia worse. and its the opposite of what I've been told by my psychologists and doctors.

You must also not become dependent on artificial measures such as that shot of whiskey or a sleeping pill. This won't allow your body to become accustomed on a regular basis to the full restorative sleep you need.
I'm not dependant.

When you start fucking with your sleep cycle, you do in fact fuck it up and make it hard to get back into a regular pattern.
yep

Amend this now.
