I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream are a noise indie trash post-punk band from Berlin and Hannover, influenced by bands like Pavement, Modest Mouse, Sonic Youth, Velvet Underground, etc. Bastian (guitar, vocals) writes songs about Philip K. Dick, self-isolation and atheism. He is joined by Edward (guitar), Knut (drums) and Martin (bass). The band name is inspired by the short story of the same name by american SF-writer Harlan Ellison. IHNMAIMS was founded in the fall of 2007.
