ok your particular machine is not an intel pc, it runs on motorola cpus. your next mac will be an intel pc though, because that's what apple sells. an intel box authorized to run BSOD as modified by Apple (BSOD is a great OS by the way, runs a lot of web servers).

i like the 12" powerbook, a friend has one, it's a sweet machine. they discontinued that though. oops! macbook pros are only 15" and 17". and we didn't buy our 17" behemoth! it was given to my wife at her place of work. but anyway...

i bet the thinkpad X series would make a good replacement for your powerbook. it's just 12.1" and UNKILLABLE. i hear it runs OSX like a charm.
