then again, coke and booze requires more specific type music. when youre home from the bar/club/show with some friends and your all doing lines and talking shit and coking out to records, in these situations i generally find myself listening to older more classic rock n roll, the stones, ledzep, black sabbath, van morrison, jimi, and then funk like sly stone, al green, curtis mayfield, pfunk, and then more basic punk ramones/damned/the weirdos, and then classic hip hop nwa/public enemy/wu tang/biggie/nas/rakim/boogie down productions etc... Just stuff thats easily recognized and easily enjoyed by most everyone in the room. But when youre alone and getting high, or with a band buddy or something getting high, thats when its more fun to experiment with different bands you really love more 'avant garde' than say the coking out at 5 am records.
