The only celebrity death that made me cry was Charles Schulz in 2000
because when I was a young girl and just learning to read, Peanuts strip
collections were the first books I remember just devouring. From age 4 on,
Peanuts was huge in my life, from books to the paper to TV to toys. I never
met Schulz but his death (to me) was liking losing a sage uncle.
