i can only offer as an excuse that i had a bad case of conjunctivitis, had a swollen & painful eyelid, and was engaged in an IM conversation while i crankily replied yesterday afternoon.

because after rereading what i wrote i can see how it's possible to interpret that you can't keep your best friends from teenage/early 20's. and yeah i didn't mean that, but i didn't have to read malice into your reply either. i was just generally irritated and my attention was scattered.

i thought i'd post you this apology on a PM to avoid bitchy interferences but i figured meh (i was gonna post this earlier in fact but got distracted).
