hey phoenix, I'm not saying this to inflate anyone's ego but this is probably the situation because I'm assuming you're intelligent and have a bit unique taste and this is not the norm, most people are kind of daft and like what is popular and their lives revolve around stuff like being hot etc. I can't relate to most people either, I have a problem with this on a daily basis and have found that this hasn't changed throughout my life. Living in the suburbs might not be helping your plight though, I have decided recently that I need to move closer to the city but that's more to do with me not wanting to drive for half an hour each way just to see a band.
